The upcoming Motorola device Moto Z3 Play has been leaked a couple of times in the past ranging from FCC leaks and actual render or photos of the devices. But today popular leaker Evan Blass on his twitter handle @evleaks leaked a press render revealing all the design aspect of the device.
From the image, the smartphone carries the design element from previous models. The rumour that the device will sport a 6 inch 18:9 display without the physical home button turned out to be true. The new image shows that the fingerprint sensor will be included on the right side of the device just below the volume keys. The left side also contains a button which is likely to be the power button or Google Assistant key.
The rear is made of glass and contains the pins for the Moto Mods, but the 3.5 mm headphone jack is missing. We can also see the dual camera set up along with the flash embedded in a circular case. The Moto Z3 Play comes with three microphones, two on the front and one on the back which hints at an advanced voice recognition feature or an update to the Moto Actions feature.
The smartphone is rumoured to have a display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and will be powered by the Snapdragon 636 chipset. The smartphone will be available in two memory configurations: 4GB RAM + 32GB internal storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB internal storage. The dual camera setup is of 12MP + 5 MP while offering a 5 MP on the front. It is expected to run on Android Oreo and be backed by a 3,000 mAh battery.
There is no word about the official price, but the rumours point to around $450 (Rs 30,000) which will put it against the likes of Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S, Samsung A series (2018).
