Recently released reports suggested that the iPhone 15 Ultra will replace the Pro Max position of the iPhone 15 Pro Max. Apple’s naming theme has been changing lately. We have seen the M1 Ultra and then the Apple Watch Ultra instead of the Apple Watch Pro, which we all expected.

A new leak suggests Apple may release two high-end iPhone models in 2023 – an iPhone 15 Pro Max and a new iPhone 15 Ultra. The leak comes from Majin Bu, who has a good track record regarding Apple rumours.
According to Majin Bu, the iPhone 15 Pro Max will offer 6GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage, similar to past Pro Max models. However, the new iPhone 15 Ultra may push the boundaries with 8GB of RAM, up to 2TB of storage, and significantly upgraded camera capabilities compared to the standard Pro models.
The iPhone 15 Ultra could also see a price increase of around $100 compared to the iPhone 15 Pro Max, putting it at the top of Apple’s smartphone lineup if the leak proves accurate.

Tipster Ice Universe has shared CAD-based renders of the iPhone 15 Ultra on his Twitter account. Compared to 14 Pro Max, the bezel is narrower but thicker. It will pack a Titanium alloy middle frame with a frosted process and USB Type-C. There is no physical button (We may see Solid-State Buttons with Pro models).

When can we expect the iPhone 15 Ultra to be released?

iPhone 15 Ultra Expected Specifications
Leaks about the iPhone 15 Ultra have been surfacing the web since before the launch of the iPhone 14. Following these leaks, a renowned Apple tipster, LeaksApplePro, shared some details about the upcoming iPhone 15 Ultra. Here, we will talk about the details shared by LeaksApplePro.
All iPhone 15 models, including the iPhone 15 Ultra, will have USB-C for the first time in iPhone’s history. Apple is also reportedly working on 8K video recording for the iPhone 15 Ultra. However, the leaker says that he is unsure whether the 8K recording will be exclusive to the iPhone 15 Ultra or not. The feature might also be available for the iPhone 15 Pro.
The iPhone 15 Ultra might still carry the same screen size as its predecessor, the iPhone 14 Pro Max. The screen could be an improved OLED display. All iPhone 15 models, including 15 Ultra, will feature Dynamic Island.
As for the design, the iPhone 15 Ultra will likely inherit the same boxy design as the iPhone 14. But one major change will be the inclusion of USB-C. We may also see Apple introducing faster charging with USB-C.
