Apple just held a launch event on September 14 to unveil its new iPhones, Apple Watches, and iPads. iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max are all part of Apple’s new iPhone 13 range. All of the smartphones come with a slew of new and improved features, including increased camera aperture, new manual focus mode, HiRes video mode, a new camera module, improved battery life, a 20% smaller notch, an A15 Bionic chip, and support for a 120Hz high refresh rate display on the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max.

iPhone 13 and 13 Mini supported 5G bands in the United States and India

Surprisingly, in the United States, the iPhone 13 Mini and iPhone 13 support both mmWave and sub-6 GHz 5G bands, but not in India. In India, it only supports 5G bands based on sub-6GHz frequencies. The model numbers for the devices will be A2628 and A2633. N1, n2, n3, n5, n7, n8, n12, n20, n25, n28, n30, n38, n40, n41, n48, n66, n77, n78, and n79 sub 6Ghz based 5G bands are supported by the Apple iPhone 13 Mini and iPhone 13. It’s worth noting that the US version (Models: A2481 and A2482) supports 21 Sub 6Ghz-based 5G bands as well as three NR mmWave-based 5G bands, but the Indian variant only supports 19 Sub 6Ghz-based 5G bands.

In terms of the US model (Models: A2483 and A2484), the iPhone 13 series supports 19 5G bands, including Bands n1, n2, n3, n5, n7, n8, n12, n20, n25, n28, n29, n30, n38, n40, n41, n48, n66, n71, n77, n78, and n79. They also come with NR mmWave-based 5G spectrum support.
