It’s that time of the year again. Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) just took place, which brought loads of new changes. Apple holds this event annually to announce the changes for the year in their operating systems.
Along with the changes the company makes every year, they also release brand new wallpapers for all supported devices. The new iOS 18 update comes with four new abstract wallpapers. Purple, Pink, Azure, and Yellow, to name them. These wallpapers are adaptive to Light mode and Dark mode and change their appearance accordingly.
If you like the new wallpapers and have a supported device(s), you can install the latest iOS 18 beta to use them. However, this is a very early developer beta, which is risky when installed on your primary device. Not only that, but it’s very unstable and riddled with bugs even if you manage to install it successfully.
Due to the cons of installing a beta, many people get put off and can’t enjoy the new wallpapers they liked. Fortunately, thanks to iClarified, we can get our hands on the iOS 18 wallpapers on any device. This also means you can use them even on non-Apple devices if you desire to.
You can get these wallpapers natively without the need for a third-party source or beta when Apple releases iOS 18 stable. This is usually around the time the iPhone 16 launches, which should be around September of this year.

iOS 18 Changes
Every year in this event, the most hype is always around the changes in iOS. This is expected to be the case as more than 50% of Apple products sold are iPhones. In some years, there have been comparatively minor changes, as was the case with iOS 17. However, in others, it adds a fair bit of new features. This year seems to be the latter, with iOS having plenty to offer.
This year’s iOS version, iOS 18, brings quite a few features to the table. The following are some of the changes:
- New control center design with customization options
- New home screen customization
- wallpaper-based theming for app icons, etc.
- Passwords app replacing keychain
- New Photos app UI
However, the main highlight of the event was Artificial Intelligence, or what Apple likes to call it, Apple Intelligence. iOS 18 brought an abundance of AI features like Object erasers in photos, writing suggestions in Mail, AI image generation, custom emoji generation, and a lot more. Apple has also partnered with OpenAI to integrate ChatGPT 4o at a system level.
However, it should be noted that the AI features will only come for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. In other Apple devices like iPads and Macs, it will come to all of them running an Apple M series chip.
