Huawei P11 with iPhone X Like Display and with 3 Cameras to Launch in MWC 2018

Chinese smartphone maker Huawei recently crossed Apple in global sales to become the world’s second-largest smartphone manufacturer. The top Chinese manufacturer is quietly working on its next flagship, scheduled to be announced on MWC 2018 starting from February 2018, as claimed by Roland Quandt. Huawei launches a P-series smartphone in the first quarter of every year, followed by the P-line flagship, and at the end, it launches its V-series flagships. According to the naming, the next smartphone will be the Huawei P11. Let’s see all the rumors and speculations of this device.

According to the realistic renders of the Huawei P11 that have leaked so far, the smartphone will be sporting an iPhone X’s FullScreen display with an upper fringe but looks wider and taller. It also features a chin bezel below, like the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2. The device looks spectacular and may become one of the best-looking smartphones of 2018. As per rumors, the display is a 5.8-inch OLED with a 3420 X 2160 pixels resolution.

While the top brands are competing to get their hands on the newly announced Snapdragon 845 chipset first, Huawei will put their own Kirin 975 chipset on the device coupled with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory. There will be a circular-shaped fingerprint sensor on the back. Talking about the rear, the device will likely feature a glass back.

Coming to the optics department, the Huawei P11 may be a game-changer by becoming the first smartphone to contain not one, not two, but three cameras on the rear. This information was leaked by a digital artist at one of the company’s creative agencies earlier this month, which included the promotional materials for their portfolio. However, as soon as it started to get attention, they were pulled off and unavailable in the original location. These three cameras will be made by the Leica brand and are rumored to be 56 MP, 34 MP, and an unknown third camera, enabling 40 MP photos and 5x “hybrid zooming.” One of the renders showing three camera sensors also supports this fact. The front will offer a 23 MP front camera supporting 4x optical zoom, face recognition, and low-light selfies.

A small detail is the “Huawei PCE Series” branding on the posters, which may indicate a different name for the next P series flagship. The device will be running Android 8.0 Oreo and backed by a 4,000 mAh battery with support from wireless charging. According to a report, there will be two variants. The lower variant, the Huawei P11, will be priced at 4299 yuan (Rs 42,000 approx), while the higher Huawei P11 Plus will come with a price tag of 4699 yuan ( Rs 46,000), likely an internal memory upgrade. They will compete against the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 7 and the Samsung S9 series, which are also speculated to launch early next year.
