Today, Chinese smartphone manufacturer Huawei confirmed the launch of the Huawei Nova 2s on December 7 in Beijing. The company has released a poster on the Chinese media platform Weibo that mentions the launch event date, a Big “2S” and the slogan “More Beautiful Smartphone.”
Ahead of the launch, a few images have been surfaced online that reveal its design and specifications. Per the leaked images, the Nova 2s has a sleek design with minimum bezels, which resembles the Huawei Nova 2 Plus. Also, a fingerprint sensor on the front and rear cameras on the top left side of the device has been seen.
Per the specs sheet, the device sports a 6-inch FullScreen display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and a 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution. The device is powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 960 Processor coupled with 6 GB of RAM. The Nova 2S will be available in four color variants: black, golden, and blue. The phone includes a 20MP+16MP rear dual camera on the back, while there is a dual setup of 20MP cameras on the front.
The device will run on the Android Oreo Operating system with EMUI 8.0. It is powered by a 4000 mah battery. Other rumored specs include USB-Type C, NFC, face recognition unlocking, and a 3.5mm audio jack port. The device is likely to be priced between Rs 25,000 – Rs 30,000.
