Honor will announce its Honor 9X and 9X Pro smartphones on July 23. However, before its official launch, we have managed to ascertain the official renders of both variants of the lineup.
The renders confirm that Honor 9X and 9X Pro will feature a glass-back design and full edge-to-edge display. Both the phones will arrive with pop-up selfie cameras. The Honor 9X will sport a dual-camera setup at the rear, while the 9X Pro will have a triple-camera setup. The Honor 9X will be available in at least Magic Night Black, while the 9X Pro will arrive in Phantom Purple color.
Previously, The company confirmed the Honor 9X processor as Kirin 810, but there was no confirmation about the 9X Pro processor. Today, a new teaser reveals that the Honor 9X Pro will launch with the recently unveiled Kirin 810 processor.
Earlier this week, both phones appeared on EEC and Tenaa’s websites, revealing their key details and design. The Tenaa listing shows that both smartphones will feature a 6.59-inch full-HD+ display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 1080×2340 pixels resolution.
In the camera department, the 9X will sport a 48-megapixel+ 2-megapixel dual rear camera unit, while the 9X Pro will arrive with a 48-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel triple rear camera unit. Both the devices will feature a 20-megapixel sensor front pop-up selfie camera.
Both smartphones will run on the EMUI 9.1-based Android 9 Pie operating system and come with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage with support for a microSD card slot.
A 4000mAh battery powers both devices with fast-charging support. As for the pricing, no details are available now; we must wait for the official launch.
