Chinese smartphone manufacturer Huawei’s sub-brand Honor launched the Honor 7X month last year in December. Today a new Honor device with model number Honor LND-AL30 has been spotted in China’s regulatory agency TENNA. It is speculated that the device is the upcoming Honor 7C, though there has been no official word from the company yet.
This speculation is based on the fact that previously the Honor 6C and the 5C were launched just after the launch of Honor 6X and 5X. From the website, no information about the smartphone was made available to the public except the photos, which tell us a lot about the upcoming device.
From the images, it is seen that the new device boasts an 18:9 display just like the Honor 7X. It contains a circular fingerprint sensor at the back as well. The Honor 7C is supposed to come with four cameras, that’s one more camera than the 7X. The later contains a dual camera setup of 16 MP and 2 MP at the back while offering an 8 MP camera sensor at the front for selfies and video calling. The camera location is still the same, but the LED Flash is shifter from left to right side. The device may also launch with Android 8.0 Oreo while the 7X is yet to get an Oreo update. The 7C will be a “watered down” version of the Honor 7X.
Except for the one additional camera, there is not much difference between the two smartphones in terms of design though it looks like the 7C bezels are a tad bigger. As for the availability, there is no official launch date, but Honor will be holding a limited time Valentine Day’s promo for the Honor 7X where customers can grab a 7X in just 200$( Rs 13,000) even in the US.
