Google, a multinational company, unveiled its most awaited Pixel 7 series in India on October 6. The series includes the vanilla Pixel 7 and the Pixel 7 Pro. The devices that arrived this time are much more powerful compared to the predecessors, having the Tensor G2 chip. This time, Google has also made the pricing competitive compared to its rivals like Apple and Samsung. The pricing for the Pixel 7 is ₹59,999, and for the Pixel 7 Pro is ₹84,999, but for early access, they are providing a flat ₹10,000 making it a fascinating deal.
The Pixel camera has always been everyone’s favorite, and the Pixel 7 series is no different. Talking about the specifications, the Pixel 7 and the Pixel 7 Pro come with dual and triple cameras, having a new 50 MP OIS primary camera.
With all of these, the camera software should be focused dedicatedly by a brand, as some of the devices in the series are facing camera freezing issues or not working.
Google Pixel 7 Series Camera Keeps Stopping:
Several users have encountered the issue with the Pixel 7 series camera performing slowly, the Camera not working, and the camera app freezing. Users cannot use the camera application as it crashes most of the time when opened and freezes while using. Users have complained about the issue on Reddit and Twitter.
A user from Twitter facing the problem states, “Camera won’t open on Pixel 7; the app keeps crashing every time. I checked all the updates and restarted the phone. Issue persists.”
Further, a Reddit user confirming the issue says the Camera app is not working. I just got my Pixel 7. Is anyone else’s camera app not loading up? The phone is synced and all updated, but I can’t seem to open the Camera.”
One more Reddit user-facing camera issue on his newly purchased Pixel 7 says, “Pixel 7 Camera App issues: Is anyone else having issues using the camera app on their Pixel 7? My keeps crashing and won’t open. I have no idea why.”
This issue is consistent. Users are trying to use the camera app, but it is constantly rejecting and unable to start; if it gets started, it crashes every time, performing slow, stuttering, etc. Users are getting annoyed as they have spent massive amounts to purchase their devices and are facing such irritating issues. And unfortunately, there are limited Google service centers in India.
However, users have tried general troubleshooting means. They have been attempting to restart their device, uninstall and reinstall the application again, and check for updates, but none of them helped to get rid of the issue.
How to Fix Google Pixel 7 and 7 Pro Camera Not Working Issue?
The solution is straightforward, as it has helped one of the users who tried applying it. It would be best to try to update the camera application from the Google Play Store. Also, one of the users tried to clear the device’s cache; fortunately, it helped.
