One of these decisions was to give timely updates and provide proper software support to their phones. And so far, we have seen Samsung stick to its promise.

Samsung Galaxy M33 Android 13-based One UI 5 Release Date.

  • The Galaxy M33 5G will likely receive the Android 13-based One UI 5 stable version in December 2022.

The Galaxy M33 5G, a mid-range phone launched earlier this year, seems all set to get its first major software update. It was launched with, and currently runs, One UI 4.1, which is based on Android 12. As seen on the CheckFirm app, the update will be of One UI 5, based on Android 13.

Note that the spotted update is a test build with firmware version M336BUXXU3AVI7. It is still being developed and tested for users in India.

It is expected that users of the Galaxy M33 will get the update next month, that is, in December 2022, though a specific date has not been given yet. According to the official roadmap of devices that will receive the One UI 5 update, the smartphone above will be one of the first Galaxy M series devices to do so. It is essential to mention that the update’s rollout will likely be regional, meaning some users could get the update later than others.

To look for the update, go to Settings and scroll down. Then tap Software Update, and after that, on Download and Install. If you have received the update, follow the on-screen instructions to download and install it after you are ready. It is recommended to back your data up before updating so there is no data loss in case of any unfortunate mishap.

What should you expect in the update?

One UI 5 packs a load of new features and customization options. You can expect the new 16-colour palette for Material You theming and the enhanced lockscreen customization possibilities. Stack widgets, new and improved multitasking gestures, and an improved camera app are some new things you could get. There is enhanced system security and privacy, too. In addition, you can receive much more as the device continues getting updates on future builds of One UI 5.
