ZTE A0620 with 8GB RAM & 4,870mAh Battery Gets Certified by TENAA

ZTE had last launched the only dual-screen foldable smartphone, Axon M. Now, the Chinese smartphone maker is gearing up to launch a new single-screen smartphone in the mid-range category. Dubbed ZTE A0620, the device was spotted on the website of the Chinese regulator TENAA with some exciting specs.

The ZTE will feature a 5.2-inch IPS HD (1280 x 720) display and will be powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 1.4 GHz. It’s more likely the Snapdragon 430 or 435 chipset. Storage options include 3 GB of RAM with 32 GB internal or 4 GB with 64 GB internal memory. The highest variant will have 8 GB of RAM. The memory is expandable by micro SD card up to 256 GB.

The optics department has a 13 MP autofocus CMOS sensor on the rear while featuring a 5 MP camera on the front for video calling and selfies. It comes with 720p video recording support. An LED and fingerprint scanner are on the back of the device. The device runs Android 7. 1.1 Nougat is out of the box and will be available in three color variants: Black, Silver, and Gold.

Finally, the most eye-catching feature of this device is its massive 4,870mAh battery, which will run for almost two days, considering its specs. The massive battery makes the device a tad heavy at 160 g. The smartphone measures 147 × 71 × 8.5 mm. The device will likely feature 4G LTE support along with usual connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS and include sensors like proximity, accelerometer, and light sensors.

Besides its battery, this smartphone has nothing new or spectacular. The design is also very ordinary, with its massive bezels and capacitive buttons. It will be priced at Rs 13,000 approx. TENNA has cleared the ZTE A0620 and will likely be announced soon in China.
