Lenovo A6 Note Spotted on NBTC, EEC & Geekbench; Launch Seems Imminent

Earlier, we reported that Lenovo will soon launch two smartphones called Lenovo K10 and K10 Note on its K-series. But now, the company seems to be getting ready to launch another new smartphone on its A-series, which will be dubbed the Lenovo A6 Note.

We have spotted a new Lenovo phone with model number L19041 on the database of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) and Thailand’s NBTC. Both the certification websites confirm that L19041 will be called Lenovo A6 Note. No other details about the phone have been revealed by the NBTC and EEC listing. However, it suggests that the smartphone could be unveiled in European and Thailand’s markets soon.

Apart from the certification listing, L19041 has also appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking website, revealing some of its key specs, such as the SoC, Android Version, and RAM. As per the Geekbench listing, the Lenovo A6 Note will be powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P22 chipset that clocks at 2.0 GHz. The phone will come with 2GB of RAM. However, there is a good chance that the A6 Note would have higher RAM variants. The phone under testing scored 745 points in the single-core performance test and 3557 points in the multi-core performance test. The device will come with Android 9 Pie Operating System.

As Lenovo A6 Note will come with ‘ARM MT6762V/WB’ processor (more commonly known as the MediaTek Helio P22 SoC), which was found in phones such as the Realme C2 and Redmi 6, we can say that this is an entry-level smartphone and the starting price will be below Rs 8000.

Talking about its predecessor, Lenovo A5, the phone comes with a 13.84 cm (5.45 inch) HD+ Display, MediaTek MT6739 processor coupled with 2GB/3GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB of internal storage (expandable to 256GB), a 13MP single rear camera, an 8MP front-facing camera and a 4000 mAh battery to power the device. The starting price of A5 is Rs 5,999 for the base variant, i.e. 2GB+16GB option. It is available in Black and Gold color options.
