Apple launched the Apple iPhone SE 2020 and iPhone 12 Mini as an experiment for small and handy flagships. In the year, many brands started coming up with small, handy, and slim phones like the Asus Zenfone 8 series, Mi 11 Lite, and iPhone 12 mini. However, smartphones target different kinds of audiences. The market for the device is small but not non-existent. People are still excited about the upcoming flagship iPhone SE 3. Which will reportedly bring and follow up the trend of small flagships. And today, we got some more information about it.
iPhone SE 3 to come up with an A14 Bionic chip
A statement from Ming-Chi Kuo via TomsGuide claimed that the iPhone SE 3 will launch around mid-2022. Despite being a small and handy smartphone, the iPhone SE 3 will offer a power-packed Apple A14 Bionic, the same chipset we seen in the iPhone 12 Pro Max. The chipset is much more capable and the fastest we have seen by Apple yet. Further, the device might bring a similar form factor as the iPhone SE and iPhone 8 without missing the physical home button with Touch ID.
As for the pricing, it will be cheaper when compared with the iPhone 12 Mini, which costs ₹69,990 in India, and the iPhone SE 2020, which costs ₹32,999. Probably, it will be the cheapest 5G smartphone coming from the house of Apple. There might be an iPhone SE 3 Plus variant as well, having a big screen. The iPhone SE 2020 is still the best device in terms of performance at its price range. Moreover, the rumors tell that Apple could take over the iPhone SE 3 over the iPhone 13 Mini.
Summing up all the rumors, we can expect the upcoming iPhone SE 3 to offer a single rear camera, a punch-hole Retina display, and an Apple A14 Bionic chipset, and it could be priced around ₹30,000-₹40,000. Early 2022 isn’t too far from now. So, we can expect official information or hints from the brand in the coming months.
