OnePlus 5T Press Render Leaked, Gives a Closer Look at its 6 inch Display

OnePlus launched its last smartphone this year in June. While previous rumors suggested the company’s next smartphone will be the OnePlus 6, a new report says it might not be accurate. OnePlus may be geared up for another launch this year, a tweaked and redesigned version of its latest flagship OnePlus 5. Dubbed the OnePlus 5T, the device will now be apt for competing against the likes of iPhone X, Google Pixel 2, Huawei Mate 10 Pro, and Galaxy Note 8.

OnePlus 5T

A new photo has been released on Slashleaks, which claims to be the new OnePlus 5T. However, this is not the first time pictures of the OnePlus 5T have been released. A new render was released this week, which looked a lot like the render of the Oppo F5 renders. Interestingly, the two devices do not match. The cameras do not match. The newly released render has a single cam on the front, while the previous one had two. The display also doesn’t match as the new screen looks wider and “OnePlus” like. The two buttons on the left side of the device, one of them is a volume rocker, are differently spaced in both renders. The new render has more space and comfort. The screen is supposed to be 6 inches with an 18.9 aspect ratio from its looks. The new end-to-end screen with minimum bezels looks excellent, too.

OnePlus 5T

According to the previously leaked specs, the OnePlus 5 T’s screen is supposed to be 6-inch with a resolution of 2,160 x 1,080 pixels, greater than that of the OnePlus 5’s resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. Taking a cue from the OnePlus 3T, the phone should cost more and have a better processor and front-facing camera. OnePlus 5 comes with the Snapdragon 835, but according to reports, Qualcomm has no plans to release the Snapdragon 836 or any other successor. But honestly, I think the 835 is good enough to complain. The battery could be improved, though. The OnePlus 5’s 3,300mAh battery has plenty of room for upgradation. We could also get a new version of the polished OxygenOS.

OnePlus 5 was launched with two variants: the 6GB RAM for Rs 32,999 and the 8GB of RAM for Rs 37,999. Considering this price may be above Rs 40,000 for the OnePlus 5T. According to the rumors, the OnePlus 5T will be released around November this year.
