OnePlus 5T Complete Look Revealed

With only one week left for the official announcement, a new render has been spotted showing the front and back sides of the hyped OnePlus 5T smartphone. The render looked almost similar to the last leaked image weeks ago. While previous leaks have focused on the front, where most changes will occur, the new render focuses on both sides.

The newly leaked render confirms the previous speculation of the OnePlus 5T having a massive 18:9 aspect ratio display. According to the rumors, the screen will be 6 inches and have an FHD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) resolution because of the device’s massive display and minimum bezels. The fingerprint sensors have been moved to the back. However, there is a shape difference concerning the previous renders, which had a somewhat squarish design shape. But the new render shows the fingerprint sensor to be oval.

The new render almost looks similar to the recently announced OPPO R11S smartphone, which also happens to feature a dual (16 MP + 20 MP) camera setup at the back, which consists of a wide-angle lens and another with a telephoto lens with aperture f / 1.7. The OnePlus 5T will likely feature the same dual-camera setup as the OnePlus 5. However, previous reports claim that the front camera will be upgraded from 16 MP to 20 MP. OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei teased a Twitter photo showing its camera capabilities.

OnePlus has confirmed that the device will feature the old 3.5 mm audio jack and run Oxygen OS on top of the latest Android 8.0 Oreo. The device will be backed by a bigger battery than the OnePlus 5.

The device is rumored to have two memory variants: 6GB of RAM with 64 GB internal storage and 8 GB RAM with 128 GB internal storage. It will cost the same as the OnePlus 5, which places the cost of the 6 GB to be Rs 32,999 and the higher 8 GB variant to be Rs 37,999. The device is coming to India on November 21.
