Alleged Huawei Nova 3

Huawei Nova 3 Appears in TENAA with Model No “HWI-AL00”

Huawei is all set to release its flagship, the Huawei Honor V10, at a press event on November 28. Meanwhile, the upcoming Huawei Nova 3 was spotted in TENAA with model no HWI-AL00 applied by Huawei Technologies CO., LTD.

From the website, the Huawei HWI-AL00 sports its company name on the back. It is likely to be the Huawei Nova 3 from the previous leaks. Similar to this model, a couple of images were leaked on the Chinese media platform Weibo. It sported minimum bezels on top and bottom and almost no bezel on sides. The device shares its looks with the Honor 9i, also rebranded as Huawei Nova 2i in some places. A fingerprint sensor is at the front and encased in a light blue frame. From the looks, the display adopts a full-screen design and will likely have an 18:9 aspect ratio. There are dual cameras on the rear.

The TENAA website has not released any more information, but the Chinese user had leaked the specifications on Weibo. According to the leaked spec sheet, the display is 5.93 inches with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and a pixel density of 407 ppi. Under the hood, it is powered by its own Kirin 670 chipset clocked at 2.2 GHz and coupled with a Mali G72 MP4 GPU. In the optics department, the smartphone claims to have a combination of 20 MP +16 MP sensors on the rear and 20 MP+ 2 MP on the front with LED flash support. The device will be powered by a 3340 mAh battery support for 18 W fast charging. The device includes a 3.5 mm headphone jack and Micro USB v2.0. Connectivity includes 4G LTE,  WLAN Wi-Fi, GPS and more.

There is no information about the RAM and the operating system, but we think it will offer 4 GB RAM and run Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS. Also, the device may not feature an LDAF module from previous leaks. Considering the appearance in TENAA, we expect the device to be released in December this year. It may be announced on the Huawei Honor V10 launch on November 28.
